Based on the number of days in your typical period, you would need approximately:

As far as sizes/absorbency levels: an average woman may use "super" for the first day or two of her period as those are usually the heaviest days...  followed by "regular" for most or all of the other days of her period...  Some women use "light" on their last day or two if bleeding is minimal.

Some women use tampons during the day and pads at night.  If this is you, you can split the quantities desired into tampons and pads based on what you'll need.
