About Us

our mission

1. Providing no-cost period products to those in need and/or lacking access. We distribute free products through local schools or directly to recipients at our office.
2. Providing Period Starter Kits for tween and teen girls to prepare for their first period (and beyond!). We partner with local schools to give out a starter kit to every girl in the 5th grade during the annual puberty lesson. We also distribute directly to local girls at our office.
3. Advocating for girl’s and women’s health issues.
4. Offering leadership seminars and mentorship opportunities to local girls and young women.

HHGI is registered as an Arizona nonprofit corporation. Donations are tax deductible (see applicable IRS rules).

HHGI thanks you for your donations. You can donate new and unopened packages of period products (tampons, pads, liners) at our main Havasu office. You can donate financially online at Givebutter or by cash/check at our office.
