Outreach and Advisory Teams

Volunteer Opportunities for:

Girls and Young Women, Grades 6-12
and
Adult Volunteers 18+

Would you like to help spread the word about the programs that Havasu Helping Girls offers with your classmates, friends, family, and followers.  How about interacting with the leadership of the company to help shape the future development of our programs through your input and insight?  Consider joining our Outreach and Advisory Team!

There are two versions of the Outreach and Advisory Team: the first team is available to girls and young women in grades 6-12. The second team is open to adults 18 and over.

  1. Girls and Young Women OAT (G&YW): This special volunteer team consists of girls and young women, grades 6-12/ages 11-18.  Team members will interact with the leadership of Havasu Helping Girls to discuss current programs, future programs, community involvement, and more (aka: developing more programs that interest YOU).  Team members will also learn more about our programs and help spread the word with their classmates, friends, family, youth group, social media, etc.
  2. Adults OAT: The adult Outreach and Advisory Team is similar to the youth version, with the exception that members are 18 years of age or older. Focuses will involve outreach, volunteer opportunities at local product drives, and feedback on program offerings and curriculum.

The requirements are pretty simple:

For the Girls and Young Women Team (grades 6-12):

1) Be local to the Lake Havasu area OR be available to participate in online events, 2) Be a girl or young woman between the ages of 11 and 18, 3) Be willing to learn about our programs and spread the word, 4) Be available to interact with HHGI leadership to give feedback, 5) Be courteous and be respectful of other team members and company employees, 6) Get your parent(s) permission to join the team.

For the Adult Volunteers Team:

1) Be local to Lake Havasu OR be available to participate in online events, 2) Be over the age of 18 (female or male), 3) Be willing to learn about our programs and spread the word, 4) Be courteous and be respectful of other team members and company employees.
